What does Scrubbr do with Otter?

Scrubbr reads that email in your inbox and pulls the action items into your commitments. It needs no separate sign-in to Otter.

  • Reads the summary email Otter sends to your inbox after a meeting.
  • Pulls the action items out of that email. Each action item becomes a commitment, linked back to the email it came from.
  • Matches the person named in an action item to your contacts.
  • Keeps those commitments in the same list as the ones from your email and chat.

What does Scrubbr read from Otter, and what does it never do?

What Scrubbr reads

  • The summary email Otter sends you, mainly its action items section.
  • Nothing directly from your Otter account. There is no sign-in, no API connection and no webhook to set up.

What Scrubbr never does

  • Never records your meetings. Scrubbr has no bot and records no audio.
  • Never stores transcripts. Otter keeps the transcript. Scrubbr uses summaries only.
  • Never sends meeting summaries on your behalf.
  • Never changes or deletes Otter's emails in your inbox.
  • Never trains AI models on your content, and never sells your personal information.
  • Never lets staff read your messages without your approval, except to act on a security incident or a legal obligation.
