What does Scrubbr do with Zoom?

Once connected, Scrubbr creates a Zoom meeting when you schedule one from inside Scrubbr.ai.

  • Creates a Zoom meeting when you schedule a meeting from inside Scrubbr.ai.
  • Recognizes a Zoom link in a Google Calendar or Outlook calendar event, in its description or location, so the meeting keeps its join link.
  • Keeps Zoom as its own connection. It is separate from your Google or Microsoft sign-in.

What does Scrubbr read from Zoom, and what does it never do?

What Scrubbr uses

  • Scrubbr uses Zoom for one purpose: creating meetings when you schedule them from inside Scrubbr.ai. It asks Zoom for the permission to create meetings.
  • Zoom links that appear in your calendar events. Scrubbr reads them from the event, not from Zoom.

What Scrubbr never does

  • Never records your meetings. Scrubbr has no bot and records no audio.
  • Never stores transcripts. Meeting notes in Scrubbr are summaries only.
  • Never trains AI models on your content, and never sells your personal information.
  • Never lets staff read your messages without your approval, except to act on a security incident or a legal obligation.
