The situation
A reply is quick to write and slow to research
Most of the time in an email reply goes to finding the answer, not typing it. The question sits in the thread. The answer sits in a Slack message from last week, a note from a call, or an email you sent a month ago.
So you open four tabs, copy a line, check a date and start from a blank page. Or you paste the thread into an AI chat, write a long prompt, and still rewrite what comes back.
What you press
One key, three steps
The same flow works in a new email and in a reply.
-
1. Hold Option and say the point
Open the email, put the cursor in the body, hold Option and say what the reply must do. Or click the pencil and type it.
-
2. Scrubbr reads the thread and your tools
It reads the open thread, then looks in your other connected apps for the dates, decisions and links the reply needs.
-
3. The full reply appears at your cursor
The reply is written in the body, in your tone. Read it, change a word if you like, and press Send yourself.
What it reads
What Scrubbr pulls in for an email reply
It only uses the apps you have connected.
| App | What Scrubbr can use it for here |
|---|---|
| Gmail | The thread you are answering, and your past emails: what you told this person before and how you word an answer. |
| Outlook | The same for Outlook: the thread, and your earlier mail with this person. |
| Slack | Status and decisions posted in channels and threads, such as "the fix is live". |
| Microsoft Teams | The same for Teams chats and channels. |
| Granola | What was said and agreed on the call this email is about. |
| Google Calendar | When the meeting was and who was on it. |

Three questions, answered in one go
Marcus asked three questions. Alex answers all three in a few seconds.
In your inbox
Marcus Lee: Before Daniel signs off: 1. Can our team sign in with their Google accounts? 2. How long do you keep our data? 3. Is the Salesforce sync live yet?
You say
optionAnswer Marcus’s three questions. Offer Priya a call this week.

Hi Marcus,
Here are the answers to your three questions:
- Sign-in: yes. Your team can sign in with Google accounts, on every plan.
- Data: we keep it 30 days by default, and your admins can set their own window.
- Salesforce: the sync has been live since Oct 14, at no extra cost.
Would a 20-minute call with Priya this week help with her security review?
Best,
Alex

Tips
Get a better reply in fewer words
-
Say what the reply must do
Try "Say yes, give the date, offer a call." Scrubbr fills in the rest from the thread and your other apps.
-
Name the person or the project
If you have many open threads, say who it is for or which project it covers, so the right facts are used.
-
Read before you send
Scrubbr writes the draft and you decide what goes out. Check names, dates and numbers, as you would for any draft.
“Client messages used to pile up while I was on calls. Now I answer in a few words between calls, and Scrubbr writes the full reply.”
Questions
Email reply questions
Does Scrubbr work in Gmail and Outlook?
Yes. Scrubbr writes at the cursor in any app with a text cursor, and it reads your Gmail or Outlook mail for context.
Do I have to paste the email thread?
No. Scrubbr reads the thread and looks in your other connected apps for the facts. You never copy and paste.
Does Scrubbr send the email for me?
No. It writes the reply at your cursor. You read it, change what you want and press Send yourself.
Will the reply sound like me?
Scrubbr writes as you and matches how each app is written, so an email reply to a client reads differently from a chat message.
Is my email safe?
To write a reply, Scrubbr reads the message and the thread you are answering, from the Gmail or Outlook account you connected. Attachments are never stored. Scrubbr is CASA Tier 2 verified, and a SOC 2 Type I audit is engaged. The Trust page has the full security documentation.
How much does it cost to try Scrubbr on email?
Your first 3 days are free with no card. Add a card for 7 more days. After that it costs $15 a month, or $144 a year. See the pricing page.
