For operations

Meeting follow-ups and weekly updates, written from what happened

Scrubbr is an AI writing tool for operations leads and chiefs of staff: it writes meeting follow-ups, action items, SOPs and the weekly company update from your meeting notes, Slack and calendar. Hold Option in Slack, Gmail or a doc, say what you need, and read the draft before you post it.

A day in writing

Most of what you write starts as someone else's thread

Operations writes in many apps, and the facts for each message sit in a meeting, a chat or an old doc.

Where an operations lead writes and what they write
WhereWhat they write
SlackAnswers on process, nudges about late tasks, and the weekly company update
NotionThe agenda for the leadership meeting
GmailThe follow-up after the leadership meeting, questions to a vendor about a renewal, and a brief for the CEO on tomorrow's meetings
AsanaOne task for each action item
Google DocsA new SOP, such as onboarding for a new hire
ClaudeA prompt that pulls a board-prep summary together

The jobs

The writing you hand off

These jobs repeat every week, and each one starts from facts you already have in other apps.

  • Follow-ups and action items after meetings

Scrubbr reads your meeting notes and writes one short line, then one item per line, with the owner and the date.

    See meeting follow-ups
  • SOPs, policies and agendas

Scrubbr answers from the SOPs, policies and FAQs in your knowledge base, and carries on a doc in the same format.

    See the knowledge base
  • The weekly company or team update

Scrubbr reads what each team posted this week and writes the update for the channel.

    See Slack
  • Answers to the team in chat

Scrubbr writes a short reply that fits Slack or Microsoft Teams.

Worked example

The leadership meeting, posted in one breath

Mara runs operations at Fieldstone Software, and the leadership meeting just ended.

In Slack

You say

optionPost the action items from this morning's leadership meeting, with the owners and the dates.

Scrubbr finds

  • Granola · this morning's leadership meeting notes: who owns what
  • Google Calendar · this week's dates, so each due day is right
  • Slack · #eng: 2.4 is planned for the 21st

Slack · #leadership

Action items from today's leadership meeting:

Keiko: confirm the 2.4 release date (the 21st) by Wednesday

Lena: email the three customers hit by last week's outage, by Wednesday

Tomas: send the Q3 pipeline numbers for the board deck, by Thursday

Mara: send Ines the board deck draft, by Friday

Example only. The people, company and facts are invented.

When it clicks

One line, everyone knows who does what

After the leadership meeting, you click the message box in Slack, hold Option and say, "Post the action items." Scrubbr writes one short line to start, then one item per line, from your meeting notes. On Friday, the same move writes the weekly update: you say, "Post the weekly update," and it reads what each team shared. Nobody has to scroll a long summary to find their name.

Questions

Operations questions

Is our company data safe?

Nothing goes out until you read it and send it, and you choose which tools to connect. Security details are on our Trust page.

We already have an AI notetaker.

Keep it for the notes. If the notes are in Granola, Scrubbr writes the follow-up and the action items from them.

Notion already has AI. Why add another tool?

Scrubbr works in Notion too. It writes at your cursor and brings in your email, chat, calendar and meeting notes. For other options, read our list of AI writing tools.

I keep our SOPs in a Claude Project.

Add them to Scrubbr's knowledge base, and Scrubbr uses them wherever you write.

Rolling out a tool takes forever.

One approval from your IT admin covers the whole team. Each person then installs the app and connects their own accounts. Setup takes about two minutes.
